Fluoropolymer Tubing distinguishes one line from another.

February 9, 2007 - Designed with colored stripe down entire length, Colortrax(TM) Tubing provides instant, positive identification of lines without obstructing view of media. Colortrax(TM) bonds fluoropolymer to fluoropolymer, providing resistance to rub-off, chemical attack, and heat deterioration. Pigmented fluoropolymer is confined to tubing's outer wall, avoiding risk of contaminating fluids inside. Available in PTFE, FEP, and PFA, tubing comes in 10 striping colors and in sizes up to 1 in. OD.

Colortrax(TM) Striped Fluoropolymers

Distinguishing One Line from Another

Parker-TexLoc of Ft. Worth, Texas, now offers a wide range of striped Fluoropolymer tubing for identifying chemical processes and fluid handling lines or other types of connections where quick tube identification is necessary. This new line, known as Colortrax(TM), provides instant - positive identification of lines without obstructing the view of the media flowing through the tube. Also, because the stripe runs the entire length of the tube, operators can easily distinguish one line from another without having to search for identification labels.

Unlike alternative marking systems, Colortrax(TM) bonds fluoropolymer to fluoropolymer to provide the greatest resistance to rub-off, chemical attack and heat deterioration common in traditional marking systems. Additionally, pigmented fluoropolymer is confined to the tubing's outer wall, thus avoiding any risk of contaminating the process fluids inside.

Colortrax(TM) is available in PTFE, FEP and PFA resins, in sizes up to 1" OD and in up to ten striping colors. For more lines, two stripes can be placed side by side of the same or different colors.
