Book Sewing Machine uses reverse lock stitch technology.

Automatic in-line sewing machine, Super Sewer(TM), is designed for on-demand production of photo books, yearbooks, journals, and children's books up to ½ in. thick. Included software allows machine to produce 3 x 5, 4 x 6, and 5 x 7 in. books, and machine offers 11 x 14 in. max capabilities. Using Back Tack Technology(TM), system performs reverse lock-stitch on head and foot of book block to ensuring durable side sew and can sew up to 10 books per minute.

New! ODM Super Sewer Features New Software for Sewing Smaller Books
The ODM Super Sewer(TM) is an automatic in-line sewing machine designed for 'on-demand' photo books, yearbooks, journals, children's (juvenile) books (up to 1/2" thick). New software allows the Super Sewer(TM) to produce 3" x 5", 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" books.
The Super Sewer(TM) features Back Tack Technology(TM), simply put the machine does a reverse lock-stitch on the head and foot of the book block. This ensures a very strong side sew which will not come apart at the head and foot like standard side sewn books normally do. Super Sewer(TM) is easy to operate with a touch screen LCD color control panel.
The Super Sewer(TM) can sew up to 10 books per minute; that's 600 books per hour.
