JET Drum Tongs have 1,000 lb capacity for lifting 55 gallon drums with overhead hoist. Model 262001 works with open top or tight-head steel drums and plastic drums with large or x-Large rings, while 262002 features release lever that allows hooks to fall and then secure drum's rim. JET Drum Lifter bears loads up to 770 lbs and can be used with overhead hoist or hooked from forklift truck. JET Drum Chain Sling is used with hoist and has single-chain capacity of 1,100 lb.

Jet Expands Materials Handling Tools to Include Drum Tongs, Lifters and Chain Slings
ELGIN, ILL. -Adding to its arsenal of material handling equipment, JET® has announced the inclusion of a chain sling, lifter and drum tongs. The heavy duty powder coated steel drum handling accessories make their debut at the 2007 ProMat Show in Chicago on January 8.
Drum Tongs
A new pair of JET Drum Tongs have 1,000-lb capacity for lifting 55 gallon drums with an overhead hoist. The JET Drum Tong (Stk. #262001) works well with open top or tight-head steel drums and plastic drums with a Large or X-Large rings.
JET's Drum Tong (Stk. #262002) features a handy release lever that allows the hooks to fall and then secure the drum's rim. When the drum is lifted, the tongs engage the rim for a vise-like hold. When the drum is lowered and set down on a flat surface, the tongs disengage automatically, releasing the drum.
Drum Lifter
The JET Drum Lifter (Stk. #262003) can bear loads up to 770 lbs. This drum accessory can be used with an overhead hoist or hooked from a forklift truck for vertical lifting of 55 gallon drums having a top lip, ring, or chime.
This workhorse moves easily and handles both open or closed head and loaded steel drums. The drum lifter allows quick and efficient loading into overpacks, while keeping drums upright throughout the operation, reducing spills or potential injuries.
Drum Chain Sling
The JET Drum Chain Sling (Stk. #262006) is fully operational when used with a hoist. This versatile chain sling has both a single-chain capacity of 1,100 and double-chain capacity of 2,200 lbs. Weighing 49 lbs., the drum chain sling is designed to be used on steel drums, both 30 and 55 gallon, with or without a lid. Its rugged construction and hardened-steel chain is durable for long life.
