Thermal Dynamics Introduces XT-300 Series Torches
St. Louis, MO (January 22, 2007) -- Thermal Dynamics, a leading producer of automated plasma cutting systems, has introduced the XT-300 and XT-301 series plasma torches with a new SpeedLok attachment design to quickly install and precisely lock the consumable cartridge assembly into the torch body.
The new SpeedLok torch design requires a half of a turn to fully engage and lock the cartridge retainer ring onto the torch body. It speeds up the changing of consumable parts allowing the customer to get back into production cutting a lot faster.
Previous owners of XT-300 series torches can easily upgrade to the new SpeedLok design by simply replacing the torch head and the retainer ring on the consumable cartridge. The old threaded torch design will be obsolete and directly replaced by the new SpeedLok torch.
