BoostPuck LED Driver Module Powers Large Series Arrays, from Low Voltage

Randolph, Vermont - LEDdynamics Inc., a leading manufacturer of constant current drivers for Light Emitting Diodes, announces a driver module to power large LED arrays in series, from low voltage power sources.

The LuxDrive 4015 BoostPuck is capable of driving 10 LEDs at 350mA in series from 12Vdc. Measuring only .83" x .43", its compact size makes the ideal solution for OEM's interested in integrating the driver directly into a fixture, or unable to use a remote driver, due to size or other constraints.

The 4015 BoostPuck is a drop-in module, and does not require any electrical engineering knowledge to install. It boosts the input voltage as necessary to power an array of LEDs in series.

The BoostPuck offers advanced features such as dimming, flash, and strobe operation. With the use of a dimming module, the BoostPuck will provide 0-10V dimming control capable of interfacing with traditional commercial dimming systems.

The BoostPuck provides a stable platform for powering LEDs and can achieve up to 95% efficiency. This is especially important for OEM's who seek to design and manufacture LED fixtures and light systems which meet energy efficiency standards, such as California's Title 24.

LEDdynamics manufactures the LuxDrive line of products, and provides technology, services, and education that enables and accelerates the adoption of LEDs as a medium of illumination. The LuxDrive line of Power Modules for Light Emitting Diodes provide constant-current regulation to LEDs and simplifies the design of LED products. LuxDrive offers the industry's smallest constant current LED drivers, including the BuckPuck, the smallest multiwatt dimmable constant current driver available.
