Stocked in 14 lengths from 11.8-118 in., Series 1 slides feature 2 sets of recirculating linear bearings mounted to 2.95 x 2.95 in. or 2.95 x 4.92 in. saddle plate for backlash free operation. Expanded Series of Double Rail Linear Slides from Techno-Isel
New Hyde Park, New York - An expanded series of low cost double rail linear slides from Techno-Isel, feature two sets of recirculating linear bearings which are mounted to a 3" x 2-1/2" saddle plate for backlash free operation. Applications for the new slides include inspection, production, machine feeders, moveable robot bases, work-in-process transporters and other assembly line related uses.
Identified as the Series 1, they are stocked in 14 lengths which range from 11.8" to 118" (300 mm to 3000 mm) long. The rail assembly consists of 2 hardened and ground .472" diameter (12 mm, h6) rails which are securely bolted to a rugged aluminum profile which measures 1.42" (36 mm)wide by 1.10" (28 mm) high. A unique feature is the slotted rail base which is designed to fit Techno-Isel or compatible "T" slot profile table surface extrusions.
There are two sizes of saddle plates offered. The surface area of the smaller plate is 2.95" x 2.95" (75 mm x 75 mm). The larger saddle plate is 2.95" x 4.92" (75 mm x 125 mm). Each saddle plate is bolted to two recently patented recirculating linear bearing units. Position repeatability of the entire assembly is .0004" per 39.4" (0.01 mm per 1 meter).
