EXAIR's new Ionizing Point delivers a high concentration of positive and negative ions to neutralize static electricity. This shockless static eliminator is the ideal way to prevent jamming, tearing or dust attraction on slitting, winding, rewinding, ink jetting and silk screening applications.
The Ionizing Point incorporates a stainless steel emitter that effectively removes a static charge when mounted within several inches of the charged surface. A bracket is provided for machine mounting. The retaining nut that is included permits mounting through a duct to neutralize static charges due to moving air or materials. The compact Ionizing Point fits a 7/8" diameter hole and extends only 1/8" from the mounted surface. The shielded 5-foot power cable is extremely flexible and is designed for rugged industrial use.
The Ionizing Point is UL Component Recognized to US and Canadian safety standards. Static dissipation is fast, eliminating a 5kV charge in 0.18 seconds when mounted 1 inch away from the charged surface.
