With compact and well-balanced design, screwguns and high-torque drivers feature universal-comfort grip ergonomics and Posi-Lock(TM) depth-retention nose-piece. Screwgun model SG45 has 4,500 rpm, 6.2 A with plastic housing, while SG45M 7.0 A offers metal housing. Model SG45M-50 includes all specifications and features of SG45M with 50 ft twist-lock extended cord. Suited for TEK screws, 179 lb-in. drivers SG25M and SG25MT feature 2,500 rpm, 7.0 A for metal-to-metal fastening.

New Bosch Screwguns Ultimate In Comfort, Control and Performance
Mount Prospect, Ill., January 17, 2007- The new Bosch Power Tools and Accessories Screwgun line boasts the most compact and well balanced design, universal-comfort grip ergonomics and the innovative Bosch Posi-Lock(TM) depth-retention nose-piece. Four basic models comprise the line: two drywall screwguns (SG45 and SG45M) and two high-torque drivers (SG25 and SG25MT). Drywallers and framers can now have the best of all worlds - comfort, ease-of-use and performance.
Each new Bosch screwgun is a full one-inch shorter and lighter weight than the industry's leading competitor. Bosch engineers specially focused on the contoured ergonomic grip area, unique trigger design and extended finger grip. Combined, the Bosch screwgun line minimizes fatigue and provides the ultimate in balance, comfort and control for driving screws all day, every day.
The unique Posi-Lock depth-retention nose-piece is already an industry stand out, as drywallers no longer need to worry about removing the nose piece and losing their depth settings. The unique design utilizes a special detent system to retain depth settings whether on or off the tool and eliminates annoying time consuming readjustments every time the nose-piece is removed. One-handed removal also makes the various framing tasks drywallers need to accomplish throughout the day quicker and easier.
Each screwgun comes with either a metal or durable plastic gear-housing for cost-conscious contractors. The SG45 4,500 RPM 6.2 Amp screwgun features a plastic housing, while the SG45M 4,500 RPM, 7.0 Amp screwgun offers a metal housing. The 179-in-lb. high-torque SG25M and SG25MT for TEK screws feature 2,500 RPM, 7.0 Amp for heavy-duty metal to metal fastening applications. A fifth model, SG45M-50 includes all the specifications and features of the SG45M, but also a 50-foot twist-lock extended cord.
Each new Bosch screwgun also features a lock-on button for extended use application, belt clip to free hands during measuring, cutting or drywall placement, and a forward/reverse lever conveniently located in front of the trigger.
