Zebra Introduces New, Palm-Size Mobile Receipt Printer

ERNON HILLS, Ill., Jan. 15 /- Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ:ZBRA), a global leader in on-demand printing solutions for business improvement, today announced the introduction of the miniature MZ 220 mobile receipt printer, designed for applications such as retail line busting, delivery and field service operations, hospitality and tableside receipt printing and public transportation ticketing. This small and sleek mobile printer fits comfortably in the palm of the hand, weighs less than a pound and offers a wide range of connectivity from Infrared Data Association (IrDA)(R) and USB 2.0 connectivity to optional Bluetooth(R) and 802.11b/g.

"The MZ 220 is the perfect printer for quick and convenient printing from mobile workers' personal digital assistants (PDAs), handheld devices and smart phones. The MZ 220 is small enough to fit easily in the palm of the hand and can be carried or worn comfortably all day by a mobile worker. User-friendly and attractive, it is ideal for use in retail, hospitality and other customer- facing environments. The MZ 220 also features Zebra's advanced networking support, via tools such as ZebraNet(TM) Bridge Enterprise printer management software, and advanced security protocols such as 802.11i and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA).

The MZ 220 joins Zebra's popular mobile printing family that includes the RW series of rugged receipt printers, the QL Plus series of advanced mobile label printers and the Cameo series of payment processing receipt printers. The MZ 220 is available now in North America, Asia- Pacific and Latin America. It will be available in Europe beginning Feb. 5, 2007.
