Cleaver-Brooks' Ultra-Efficient, Cost Saving Boiler at AHR Expo 2007

MILWAUKEE - Energy efficiency is a top priority when designing new products at Cleaver-Brooks. The CFC ClearFire Boiler is no exception, achieving operating efficiencies of 99 percent in full-condensing mode. This modular hot water boiler is single pass-down fired with rugged stainless steel construction and will be on display in Cleaver-Brooks' booth number 3202 at the AHR Expo in Dallas this January.

"The relentless rise of fuel costs and mandatory emissions regulations are forcing customers to find new ways to conserve energy and increase fuel efficiency in the boiler room," says Earle Pfefferkorn, president of C-B Package Boiler. "Products like the ClearFire are part of our commitment to driving a new generation of high-efficiency boilers and burners that help customers achieve measurable performance improvements. This breakthrough is just one of the many results from our multi-million dollar, industry leading, R&D center."

The CFC ClearFire produces noise emissions of less than 70dBA, making it ideal for schools, office buildings, hospitals, nursing homes or anywhere noise levels are an issue. It is CSA certified and comes in sizes ranging from 750 MBtuh to 1,800 MBtuh. Utilizing a premix burner with a metal fiber head, the CFC model provides NOx emissions of less than 10 ppm, significantly lower than the industry average of 62 ppm.

The ClearFire series was designed with flexibility in mind with the ability to run on either natural gas or propane. There are also no minimum flow or water temperature requirements. The boiler's fully modulating burner assembly with variable speed fan is hinged to the top of the boiler and can be raised to reveal the burner components, insulating material, and the pressure vessel unit making maintenance a breeze.

Celebrating their 75th anniversary, Cleaver-Brooks is a world-renowned provider of boiler room products and systems that outperform and outlast the competition. Selling to both the commercial and industrial markets, they are the only manufacturer offering an entire integrated boiler system. Their products are backed by a world-class distribution network offering superior aftermarket support. Visit.www.cleaver-brooks.com for more information.
