Heat Frames have 2 components to promote reliability.

Designed for military and commercial applications, custom aluminum iZIF(TM) integrates heat frame and circuit board retainer into one unit. No torque wrench or special tools are required, and features include zero insertion/extraction force; uniform clamping force and thermal distribution over entire length; ¼ turn lock/unlock (quick disconnect); and standard 1/8 SHCS-drive (Allen-key) clamping/locking rod. Thermal performance, per length, is rated equal to or under 1.2°C-in/W.

BURBANK, Calif..IERC, a leading manufacturer of thermal management products, is now offering a new line of custom aluminum iZIF(TM) heat frames designed for use in rugged military and commercial applications. This new iZIF(TM) integrates a heat frame and a circuit board retainer into a single unit, thus eliminating any need for assembly while improving thermal performance.
Highlighted Features:
o iZIF(TM) is the only PCB retainer fully integrated into a heat frame*
o Zero insertion/extraction force (ZIF)
o 1/4 Turn lock/unlock - quick disconnect
