100 Watt Green Power Compliant Desktop Switcher for Medical Applications
APS announces its new APS100ESM Series of 100 Watt Medical Approved Desktop Switchers that draw minimal input power under no load conditions to comply with new appliance energy efficiency standards that are going into effect in January, 2007.
The APS100ESM series feature Universal AC Input with Harmonic Correction to comply with EN61000-3-2 limits. The products deliver output power of up to 100 Watts with single output voltages of 12 / 15 / 19 / 24 VDC. High Efficiency operation of 88-90% allow for the high density external desktop package measuring only 5.91 x 2.36 x 1.32". These supplies are available with 2 or 3 prong IEC-320 inlets and offer a broad range of standard output cable lengths and output connectors to support customer specific requirements. Over-Voltage, Over-Current and Over-Temperature protection circuits are standard for reliable performance in sensitive applications. UL60601-1 / EN60601-1 (Class I or II) medical safety approvals make these power products ideal for laboratory, medical and gaming applications requiring external power in a small package . All models bear the CE Mark and meet EN55011 / FCC Level B Emission Standards.
