Bypass Valve controls excess flow in hydronic systems.

January 3, 2007 - Designed for systems where heating loads may be excluded from circuit as zone valves close, Differential Bypass Valve helps minimize velocity noise caused by excess flow through circuits while maintaining pump head at constant valve. Unit features all brass body with non-ferrous internals and ¾ in. connection. Installed horizontally or vertically, valve has max working pressure of 150 psig and max operating temperature of 230°F.

Bell & Gossett Unveils New DB-Differential Bypass Valve

Morton Grove, Illinois - December 20, 2006 - An innovative new Differential Bypass (DB) Valve designed to control excess flow in hydronic systems has been introduced by Bell & Gossett.

When there is a reduction in demand, the new valve acts as a bypass while ensuring adequate flow to the remaining open circuits. Designed to be used in systems where heating loads may be excluded from the circuit as zone valves close, the differential bypass valve also helps reduce velocity noise caused by excess flow through the circuits while maintaining the pump head at a constant valve.

Developed for hydronic systems utilizing zone valves, the new valve offers the following features:
o 3/4" connection
o All brass body with non-ferrous internals
o Horizontal or vertical installation
o Maximum working pressure 150 PSIG
o Maximum operating temperature 230 degrees Fahrenheit (110 degrees Celsius)
