League Announces Quick-Crate Division

League Manufacturing, a Greenville based manufacturer of CNC machined products, recently announced the launch of it's Quick-Crate Division. Quick-Crate is a collapsible, re-usable shipping container system that has many advantages over traditional one-way crates and metal racks.

Because they are made entirely from plywood, Quick-Crate products are exempt from ISPM-15 import/export regulations. Quick-Crate has been certified by the U.S. Army's Defense Ammunition Center for transportation of live ammunition (4,000#/crate). In addition to military applications, Quick-Crate is also being used in automotive and aerospace applications where products must be loaded or unloaded on the assembly line. The unique design of Quick-Crate allows full product access from the top or any side of the box.

Quick-Crate is engineered for phenomenal strength, which allows loaded crates to be stacked to maximize warehouse storage or trailer capacity. When not in use, they collapse to a height of 9" which, again, increases warehouse efficiency and minimizes return freight costs.

League, a woman owned small business, has produced custom crates since 1917 but believes that Quick-Crate sets the "international standard" for collapsible, re-usable crates. For more information on Quick-Crate, please visit www.quickcrate.com or call 800-362-4569.
