January 2, 2007 - Measuring 4 x 2 x 3.25 in., Safe-T-Alert Series 2200 is built with encapsulated solid state electronics. Units are available with voltages from 12-48 Vdc and require input current of 0.4 A at 28 Vdc. Featuring black ABS housing that resists moisture, dust, and vibration, horns survive operating temperatures from -40 to 164°F and are suited for emergency and maintenance vehicles, construction equipment, fire and lift trucks, and industrial and utility vehicles.

Systems Material Handling Company Introduces Safe -T- Alert Forward Horn


New Safe-T-Alert Series 2200 Forward Horns that produce a 107dB continuous tone when activated were recently added to the complete line of alarm systems available from Systems Material Handling Company. The Safe-T-Alert Series 2200 are rugged, compact horns ideally suited for emergency and maintenance vehicles, construction equipment, fire and lift trucks, industrial and utility vehicles and buses, among others. The horns measure 4-inches wide by 2-inches deep by 3.25-inches and are built with encapsulated solid state electronics.

The UL/CUL/CE approved Series 2200 horns feature a black ABS housing that resists moisture, dust and vibration and can be sprayed clean. The horns survive in operating temperatures ranging from -40°F to 164° F (-40°C to 74°C) and are available with voltages from 12 to 48 and requiring only an input current of 0.4A @ 28VDC. Model STA22704HW conforms to SAE safety standard J1105 Type-L.
