Solutions are available with integrated 12, 15, or 19 in. TFT displays, optionally with touch screen or touch pad, for use as monitor without keyboard or with different membrane keypad options. For storage, PCs support 2 Compact Flash cards or one HDD and one Compact Flash card.

CP62xx is ideal for cost-sensitive applications requiring machine-mounted control hardware
MINNEAPOLIS, December 7, 2006 - To give machine builders a powerful, but inexpensive "all-in-one" control solution, Beckhoff Automation has introduced the new CP62xx Panel PCs. These powerful Panel PCs feature integrated displays paired with high-performance PC technology. Processors as powerful as a Pentium® M 1.8 GHz are available. With a depth of only 2.4 inches (6 cm), the CP62xx Panel PCs' IP 65 rated displays help reduce machine size and cost. The units are also well suited for use as HMI and SCADA devices for control systems.
The CP62xx series feature 12", 15" or 19" TFT displays, optionally with touch screen or touch pad, for use as monitor without a keyboard or with different membrane keypad options, including full alphanumeric keyboards. In addition, the front of the Panel PCs can be customized to include various company logos and official color schemes.
Because of its two independent Ethernet interfaces, the C62xx is ideally suited as a compact central processing unit for an EtherCAT-networked control system, among several other applications. While the 100 MBit Ethernet port offers optimum performance for all EtherCAT control tasks, a Gigabit port is available for connecting to higher level networks.
Slimline built-in IPC with 3 1/2" motherboard
The Panel PC base version comes with Windows CE. With a larger Compact Flash or a hard disk, Windows XP Embedded or Windows XP Professional can be installed as an option. Two Compact Flash cards or a hard disk and a Compact Flash, plus the lithium battery of the system clock are accessible from the rear in the plug connector panel.
The CP62xx Panel PCs feature an integrated 3 1/2" motherboard from Beckhoff with guaranteed long-term availability. The base level CP62xx Panel PC is equipped with an Intel® Celeron® M ULV 1.0 GHz processor and 64 MB Compact Flash as standard. It contains no rotating parts. The models with high-performance Intel® processors (Celeron® M 1.5 GHz or Pentium® M 1.8 GHz) feature a fan tray with speed-controlled fans supported by dual ball bearings. In each configuration, the Panel PCs of this series are approved for ambient temperatures between 32 and 131 °F (0 and 55 °C).
The C62xx is supplied with a 24 V DC power supply unit, optionally with an integrated uninterruptible power supply (UPS). A battery pack can be connected externally and installed on a DIN rail close to the PC.
