Without requiring separate control block, instabus/Dali gateway N141 can implement lighting effects such as running lights or color washes for building facades and store display windows. Up to 64 Dali ballasts can be switched and dimmed via Gamma instabus. With Dali gateway, all Dali electronic ballasts can be controlled individually or in groups. N-system housing has size of 4 module widths, and connection to bus is via bus terminal or contact system.

Interface for Electronic Ballasts
With the instabus/Dali gateway N141, Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) offers a new device for controlling Dali electronic ballasts. Up to 64 Dali ballasts can be switched and dimmed via Gamma instabus. In addition, lighting effects can be implemented, such as running lights or color washes for building facades and store display windows. A separate control block is not required. With the Dali gateway, all ballasts can be controlled individually or in groups. For repair purposes, they can be replaced simply and quickly without starting the Dali up again. The N-system housing has a size of just four module widths and is suitable for space-saving installation in the distribution cabinet. Connection to the bus is via bus terminal or contact system.
