November 22, 2006 - Featuring 15 A motor with double fan, 3-speed Model HE 2000 produces airflow rates of 8.8, 9.5, and 17.7 cfpm. Air filter keeps debris away from motor and extends life of tool. Airflow and temperature are separately and infinitely adjustable with one hand, and wide-set non-slip pads allow users to securely stand tool on end for stationary use. Measuring 11 ¼ in. and weighing 2 lb, Model HE 2000 is available with variety of nozzles for specific tasks.

Metabo Introduces Three-Speed Heat Gun With Variable Temperatures


WEST CHESTER, Pa., November 2006 -- Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, has just introduced a three-speed heat gun with air temperatures that vary from 120° to 1,100°F. The HE 2000 Heat Gun is ideal for electricians and plumbers, restoration work and for use in manufacturing plants.

The HE 2000 features a powerful 15-amp motor with a double fan for sustained power and extended service life of the heating elements. The easy-to-clean air filter keeps debris away from the motor and extends the life of the tool. Airflow and temperature are separately and infinitely adjustable with one hand, and wide set non-slip pads allow users to securely stand the tool on end for stationary use.

The new heat gun produces airflow rates of 8.8 CFPM (cubic feet per minute), 9.5 CFPM, and 17.7 CFPM. The tool weighs 2 lbs. and measures 11 1/4". Optional accessories include a variety of nozzles for specific tasks, such as stripping paint, heating plastic tubes for bending, spot heating, or lap welding of PVC.
