NEW - 2-Wire H2S Gas Sensor Module

November 15, 2006 - Sierra Monitor Corporation, Milpitas, California proudly announces the release of the new 4501-05, a 2-Wire Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Sensor Module. Two-wire, loop powered gas detectors provide the user with lower cost and easier installation and maintenance. This eliminates the need for separate power runs and associated power distribution and circuit protection for each device.

The new 4501-05 provides features not found in similar products including:

o Low maintenance costs due to 180 day (six-month) calibration interval (FM approved and the longest calibration frequency in the industry)
o Low installation costs due to 4-20 mA 2-wire loop-powered design
o Performance confidence with FM approval for performance and area safety requirements
o Fastest response time, highest accuracy, and specifications unmatched in the industry.
o Durability of a stainless steel transmitter and sensor enclosure
o Non-intrusive calibration matched with an integral scrolling menu-driven LCD display
for easy access to gas status, calibration information and diagnostics
o Common signal output of 4-20 mA
o Application adaptability with variable range selection and mounting configuration.
