Fargo Announces Five Additional Languages for Persona© Build-A-Badge(TM) Software

Entry-level ID card software now available in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese

Minneapolis, MN (November 7, 2006) Fargo Electronics, Inc., a global leader in secure technologies for card identity systems, today announced the release of its Persona Build-A-Badge(TM) ID card software in multiple languages. Build-A-Badge is an entry-level software program now available in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

Build-A-Badge lets card program managers design ID cards, import or capture photographs and print single-sided cards with bar codes, text, logos and more, all from one application. Card designs can be selected from the library of templates, or can be easily created from scratch. When complete, the card template is saved and the personalized information is recorded to a database. To re-issue a lost or damaged card, the information can be recalled from the database, and the card reprinted.

"For entry-level applications, Build-A-Badge photo ID software is the ideal solution," said John Ekers, Fargo's director of product marketing for software and solutions. "The additional languages are important in supporting the low-end market in key geographic areas. As smaller organizations recognize their need for card identity systems, Build-A-Badge is easy to use and helps get their programs started quickly and easily."

Pricing:
Build-A-Badge software carries a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price of $199.
