Precision Dado Sets feature precision matched blades roll- and hammer-tensioned by hand. Blade bodies are laser cut from nickel-alloy steel, then ground and hardened to Rockwell 42-44C, while arbors are honed to .0007 in. tolerance. Carbide teeth feature tri-metal brazing and are CNC sharpened with diamond wheels. Three New Bosch Precision Dado Blade Sets Smooth Feed, Smooth Cut, Pro Results
Mount Prospect, Ill., October 31, 2006 - Bosch Power Tools and Accessories expanded its Professional Saw Blade offering with three new Precision Dado Sets. Cabinetmakers and serious woodworkers will quickly recognize each set's exceptionally smooth feed when making clean and precise joints and grooves in wood, veneered plywood, or composites.
Every component of a Bosch Dado is engineered to offer exceptional performance. Each set features precision-matched blades roll- and hammer tensioned by hand for perfect true running. Blade bodies are laser cut from nickel-alloy steel, then ground and hardened to Rockwell 42-44C for durability and cutting accuracy. Bosch further minimized wobble by honing the arbors to H7 tolerance (.0007-inches) for precise concentricity. Extra large carbide teeth feature tri-metal brazing for maximum durability and are CNC sharpened with diamond wheels to a razor-sharp edge. For all kinds of cuts, such as notch joints, tee laps, cross laps, box corners, dados and rabbets, straight laps, mitered corners and more, the new Bosch Dado sets deliver the results that professional woodworkers demand.
All three sets are designed for both table and radial arm saws. Each set includes two outside blades, one 1/4-inch chipper, two 1/8-inch chippers and one 1/16-inch chipper, a high quality shim set for incremental adjustments as fine as .004-inches and a durable carrying case.
