ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Oct. 19 // -- The GL Company, a certified member of the Oracle(R) PartnerNetwork and the leader in the Accounting Intelligence market, announces the availability of the Really Real Time(R) Inquiry Suite for the Oracle E-Business Suite. The GL Company is a long-time provider of real-time inquiry for Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World software and has now expanded its solutions to provide real-time reporting and inquiry capabilities for users of the Oracle E-Business Suite. Live demos of The GL Company solutions will take place at Oracle OpenWorld at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco October 22-26, 2006.
Real-time reporting and inquiry present challenges in Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World software and the Oracle E-Business Suite, and the Inquiry Suite is designed to enable users to run time-consuming reports in just seconds and create real-time inquiries for rapid review and analysis without assistance from IT. The Inquiry Suite is the only solution that uses the Oracle database as the data warehouse. Unlike Business Intelligence (BI) tools that require data to be moved and run in batch, the Inquiry Suite leverages "virtual OLAP" [On-Line Analytical Processing], turning relational data into real-time summary information.
Foster's Group, the global premium-branded beverage company, relies on Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, the Oracle E-Business Suite, and has also benefited from the use of the Inquiry Suite for JD Edwards. Foster's provided input to The GL Company during the development of the Inquiry Suite for the Oracle E-Business Suite, and Foster's is the first company to implement the new solution.
