Level Sensor tracks inventory in smaller tanks and silos.

October 18, 2006 - Used in vessels as deep as 30 ft, SmartBob-TS1 can be used to start or stop machinery instantly when product reaches specified level or show whether product is flowing freely. It is unaffected by airborne dust, filling noise, steam, temperature, or measured material's characteristics. When dropped to material surface level, sensor immediately retracts to ensure minimal contact; verifying measurement is taken during ascent.

BinMaster Introduces New Economical and Compact Inventory Tracking Sensor

(Lincoln, Nebr.-October, 2006) BinMaster, a leading manufacturer of industrial level control products, today unveiled the affordable new SmartBob-TS1 sensor, designed to track inventory in smaller tanks and silos.

The small-yet-rugged design allows use of the SmartBob-TS1 in vessels as deep as 30 feet. Mechanical and electrical innovations in the SmartBob-TS1 overcome challenges that historically have kept measuring devices from providing accurate and reliable measurements.

SmartBob-TS1 is powerful and flexible enough to handle virtually any application and vessel type, whether it's ground feed in a farm silo or fine granular solids in a plastic processor's material storage silo. When a SmartBob-TS1 is activated, a sensor probe is dropped to the material surface. The sensor probe touches the material surface and is immediately retracted back to the top of the vessel. This assures minimal contact with the material. A verifying measurement is taken during ascent. The SmartBob-TS1 is unaffected by airborne dust, filling noise, steam, temperature, or the characteristics of the material.

The SmartBob series of level controls has become widely accepted as the standard technology for reliable measurement of powders, bulk solids, slurries and liquids. BinMaster offers a complete selection of reliable, top-quality industrial instrumentation, used worldwide for inventory management and control, including point level detection, dry flow/no flow detection, aeration, and indication of hazardous dust concentration. BinMaster instruments can start or stop machinery instantly when product reaches a specified level or show whether product is flowing freely.
