The new Douglas Continuous Motion Axiom® DL case/tray packer's compact design features all servo functions, maximizing flexibility. Large size ranges, repeatable changeovers completed with minimal change parts, and walk-in accessibility for maintenance efficiency are just a few of the benefits. Adding to the Axiom's® already attractive appeal is a compact footprint and small, function-specific electrical cabinets that add convenience. As with all Douglas servo case and tray packers, fewer parts result in lower overall operating and maintenance costs.
Features include patented pinless metering for stable product handling, direct product loading onto the case or tray blank for the gentle product handling, and full-length polycarbonate guard doors for easy troubleshooting. An intuitive HMI simplifies the addition of future product sizes. Speeds are to 55 cases or trays per minute.
