Genevieve Swiss Industries has Introduced a Swiss-Made Floating Reamer Chuck

Genevieve Swiss Industries has introduced a Swiss-Made floating reamer chuck for Swiss Type lathes that is capable of .009" of true orbital float. it can actually move parallel off center up to .009".

Small enough to fit into Swiss Type lathes, the reamer chuck can be used in live tool spindles as well as static ID positions to ensure accuracy of small holes. The unique design prevents reamers from breaking by aligning the tool with the drilled hole. Parallel float prevents holes from "bell mouthing". Unique spring loaded bearing design ensures that the reamer always returns to center.

Available in either ER-8 or ER-11 Collet sizes, the floating chucks can assist in solving problems with micro reamers.

ER-8 Style available in Shank sizes 8, 10, 20, 22mm as well as ¾" and 1" sizes.
ER-11 Style available in shank sizes of 10mm, 22mm & ¾"
