October 2, 2006 - Providing standards-based logging and on-demand reporting, FREEDOM E-LOG(TM) Production Management Software gives managers plant-wide overview of equipment availability and asset utilization. Reports are provided in chart and graph formats that support drill-down mining to reveal detailed information on specific machines and/or production activities. All data collected by program can be exported into standard spreadsheet format to facilitate custom analysis and report generation.

Maintenance Technologies Exhibits FREEDOM E-LOG(TM) 2.0 Machine Utilization and Availability Software in Booth A-8218 at IMTS 2006


Chicago, IL, September 6, 2006 - Maintenance Technologies demonstrates version 2.0 of their FREEDOM E-LOG(TM) production management software in Booth A-8218 at IMTS 2006. FREEDOM E-LOG 2.0 is a standards-based logging and on-demand reporting application that gives managers a plant-wide overview of equipment availability and asset utilization.

"FREEDOM E-LOG 2.0 addresses management's need to communicate and understand machine tool availability and utilization," explains Maintenance Technologies Product Manager, James Dallam. "It provides objective data that reveals production patterns and trends and forms the basis for corrective actions that lead directly to increased productivity and throughput and the lowering of manufacturing costs.

FREEDOM E-LOG 2.0 generates a variety of standard reports in easy-to-use and intuitive chart and graph formats that support drill-down mining to reveal detailed information on specific machines and/or production activities. In addition, all data collected by FREEDOM E-LOG 2.0 can be exported into a standard spreadsheet format to facilitate custom analysis and report generation.

o The ability to view all production assets regardless of type or brand in a plant floor layout.
o Native support for reporting in English, French, German, or Spanish.
o Data export in the spreadsheet-friendly .csv format.
o Automated email reports and watchlist notifications.
o An expanded suite of OPC and digital interfaces to include more machine types and brands.
o PC and web-based remote connection capability.
o A centralized, "one-stop-shop" reporting system.
o Compliance with AMT and VDI-3423 standards.
