AR Worldwide Offers More Power Choices

In 4.2 - 18 GHz Frequency Band Model 40T4G18 Delivers 40 Watts of Power

Souderton, PA - 9/15/06 - AR Worldwide RF/Microwave Instrumentation has added a new model to its family of Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTs). The new Model 40T4G18 (40 Watts CW / 4.2 - 18 GHz) provides more power choices to fill in the power gaps between the 20-watt and 200-watt units. Along with the 50-watt TWT that was added to the line earlier this year (Model 50T4G18), the new unit makes it easier for users to get the power they need, without paying for more power than is necessary.

The 40T4G18 is designed for applications where low harmonic content is required in sub-band ranges and where wide instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and moderate power output are required. It provides readily available RF power for a variety of applications in Test and Measurement (including EMC susceptibility testing), Industrial and University research and development, and service applications.

Like the other AR Worldwide TWTAs, the new 40T4G18 has a number of impressive features, such as a built-in IEEE-4888 (GPIB) interface, 0dBm input, VSWR protection, gain control, RF output sample port, auto sleep, plus monitoring of TWT helix current, and more.

AR Worldwide Competitive Edge products supply a multitude of unique RF solutions to companies around the world. The company's limitless support network reaches the far corners of the globe. AR Worldwide products are backed by the company's "Competitive Edge" warranty, the best and most comprehensive warranty in the industry.
