Tool Kits turn magnetic drills into hole cutters.

Designed for HMD115 truck frame drill, Kit No. 17700 includes ½, 5/8, and ¾ in. dia cutters, while No. 17701 includes 9/16, 13/16, and 15/16 in. dia cutters, and No. 17704 has 13, 15, and 18 mm dia units. All RotaLoc cutters provide ¾ in. depth of cut. Kits used with HMD150 rescue drill include No. 17800 with ½, 5/8, and ¾ in. dia cutters; No. 17801 with 9/16, 11/16, and 13/16 in. dia cutters, and No. 17804 with 14, 16, and 18 mm dia cutters. All RotaLoc Plus tools have 1 in. depth of cut.

Expanded Kit Offering for Quick-Change Hole Cutters
Hougen Manufacturing produces four models of low and ultra-low profile portable magnetic drills that take advantage of cutting holes with the company's RotaLoc(TM) and the RotaLoc Plus(TM) Annular Cutters featuring the Quick-Shank mounting design for fast, tool-less change outs. Hougen offers an Arbor Adapter Assembly with the quick-release change feature that adapts the spindles of their other drill models to use the two RotaLoc series of tools. The company has widened the convenience and performance of these fast change tools with the addition of three cutter kits for each tool series. Each kit contain three cutters, with diameters dependent upon the kit selected, plus three centering pilot points are included. The kit packaging is constructed of sturdy plastic and incorporates molded 'nests' or pockets for the tools to rest in, offering protection from impingement.
The three kits available containing RotaLoc cutters (for use with the firm's HMD115 ultra-low profile truck frame drill) are #17700 with 1/2, 5/8 and 3/4" diameter cutters; the #17701 includes 9/16, 13/16 and 15/16" diameter cutters; and the #17704 kit has cutters ranging in diameters of 13mm, 15mm and 18mm-all providing 3/4" depth of cut.
The three new kits with RotaLoc Plus cutters (for use with the HMD150 low profile rescue drill) are the #17800 with 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4" diameter cutters; the #17801 featuring 9/16, 11/16, and 13/16" diameter tools; and the #17804 package that has 14mm, 16mm and 18mm diameter cutters. All of the RotaLoc Plus tools have a 1" depth of cut capacity.
The Hougen lineup of 14 portable magnetic drill models includes units with capacities to 3-1/16" diameter and 3" depth of cut. Additional products offered include a full range of individual and kit-packaged annular cutters for portable drilling and stationary machine tools, cutters specifically designed for sheet metal and plate work, plus Punch-ProTM Electro-hydraulic, single-body hole punchers along with associated punches and dies.
