New SecadorŽ Techni-DomeŽ Vacuum Desiccator

Large Volume Vacuum Storage

Generous quantities of standards, samples, electronics or other high value items can be safeguarded in the NEW SecadorŽ Techni-DomeŽ Vacuum Desiccator.

The largest domed desiccator of its kind, this patented model offers up to 4 times more volume, 65 liters (4000 cu. In.) than most other large benchtop units. Now with space for items up to 45cm (18") tall or wide including racks, trays and instruments, the SecadorŽ Techni-DomeŽ Vacuum Desiccator provides for much more storage in a single chamber than traditional plastic or glass vacuum desiccator units.

All contents can be easily viewed through the desiccator's clear top and bottom. This laboratory grade plastic material is resistant to most common chemicals and cleans easily. Polycarbonate construction provides clear viewing of contents, chemical resistance, light weight and ensures that there is no possibility of corrosion.

Two round polypropylene shelves, 36.5 and 22.5cm (14.5" and 9") in diameter maximize storage capacity and can be lifted out for easy access or to accommodate awkward sized items.

This high strength desiccator will hold a full vacuum (29" Hg, 737mm) at room temperature for 24 hours and remain airtight even if not under vacuum. A neoprene O-ring with an application of vacuum grease assures a tight seal down to 0°C.

Desiccator drying material such as the SciencewareŽ Desiccant in a Cartridge (catalog #F42045-0250) can also be used on or under the lower shelf when vacuum is not required.
