Made from high-strength steel and manufactured to application requirements, roll-formed Flo-Form(TM) Angle Profiles feature multi-layer protective coating that consists of 99.99% pure zinc, conversion coating, and clear organic topcoat to seal surface. Allied Tube Launches New Product - Flo-Form(TM) In-Line Galvanized Angles
Harvey, Illinois (September 20, 2006) - Allied Tube & Conduit is rolling out their latest innovation in coated steel products. Flo-Form(TM), is a unique, in-line galvanized, roll formed angle designed to meet specific needs in the marketplace for engineered angle profiles. Flo-Form angles offer greater design flexibility and more product line choices, coupled with elevated corrosion protection from Allied's in-line galvanizing process.
"We see a need in the marketplace for an angle profile that allows greater flexibility to design newer, more competitive end product offerings. At Allied, we're well known for our technology and expertise with in-line galvanizing tubular products. We've used this knowledge to create an angle product that offers many of the same benefits," says Edward Kurasz, Vice-President of the Mechanical Division. Flo-Form angle profiles are manufactured from higher-strength steel and are coated with a unique multi-layer protective coating that consists of 99.99% pure zinc, a conversion coating, and a clear organic topcoat to thoroughly seal the surface. These angle profiles can be used "as-is" for outstanding corrosion protection, or painted/powder coated for an added aesthetic appeal. The clear organic topcoat acts as a natural primer, drastically minimizing the labor involved with pre-paint surface preparation. One of the most beneficial features of Flo-Form is that the angle profiles are manufactured to specific wall thicknesses, size, and length of a customer's application.

By nature of the in-line galvanizing process, pre-punched holes are coated and protected just like the remaining surface - eliminating concerns about unprotected areas. The 99.99% pure zinc coating also makes Flo-Form an angle profile that can be readily welded.
