Welding Fume Extractor creates cleaner environment.

September 19, 2006 - Designed for intermittent and continuous removal of welding dust, smoke, and fumes, Mobiflex(TM) securely filters contaminated air and re-circulates it into work area. Rear wheels and front casters promote portability, while 10 or 13 ft long extraction arms lend to application flexibility. Mobiflex(TM) 200-M captures welding fumes inside LongLife® filter, which is changed out by hand. Mobiflex(TM) 400-MS uses RotaPulse® self-cleaning filter process.

Lincoln Electric Introduces Mobiflex(TM) Welding Fume Extractor

Workers can now enjoy cleaner, more energy-efficient work environment

Cleveland - Lincoln Electric announces the Mobiflex(TM) fume extractor, a portable, low vacuum system designed for the intermittent and continuous removal and filtration of welding fumes.

Designed to reduce welding dust, smoke and fumes in the work environment, Mobiflex(TM) securely filters contaminated air and re-circulates it into the work area. With proper use, this could result in a cleaner work environment and significant energy cost reduction.

It's lightweight and rugged design, along with standard rear wheels and front caster wheels make it easy to move. The Mobiflex(TM) is great for shops, such as maintenance departments and general fabrication and welding shops, that need a mobile fume extraction system.

With the combination of the mobility of the unit, and the flexibility of the extraction arms available in 3.1 meters (10 feet) and 4.1 meters (13 feet), the welding point is easier to reach. The Mobiflex(TM) increases worker flexibility through its ability to adapt to various work locations and welding applications including stick, TIG, MIG and flux cored.

The Mobiflex(TM) is available in two models. The Mobiflex(TM) 200-M draws air through the extraction arm and spark arrestor, capturing welding fumes inside the unique LongLife® filter. Particulates are collected on the inside of the cartridge, keeping hands clean during filter maintenance.

The Mobiflex(TM) 400-MS uses a RotaPulse® self-cleaning filter process. The cleaning of the filter is done segment by segment, with compressed air, and results in a consistently high airflow. When the filter becomes dirty, a pressure sensor activities the cleaning system. Compressed air from the tank releases through multiple air jets to clean one section of the filter at a time. A complete cleaning cycle can be activated by a manual switch. Dust is knocked off of the cartridge into a plastic bag accessed through a hatch at the bottom.
