New: KOMA Z+Angle Heads to be Introduced at IMTS

KOMA Z+ angle heads effectively create an additional (Z+) axis for a CNC machining center. Equipping a VMC or HMC with a KOMA Z+ angle head reduces fixturing and set-up requirements, resulting in an increase in part accuracy and machine throughput. KOMA Z+ tools are available with 90° and dual 90° outputs, custom fixed angle outputs, and adjustable angle outputs. Heavy duty flange mounted heads and application specific custom heads are also available. KOMA Z+ angle head options include internal coolant, HSK shanks, and the HT easy-quick tooling system.

New: HT easy-quick tooling system for KOMA Z+ Angle Heads and Koma Live Tools...

The HT easy-quick tooling system features the shortest projection length of any quick change system, and allows one tool to have several high precision interchangeable outputs with repeatability of 0.0002" or better. Easy-quick outputs include ER collet chucks, Weldon outputs, mandrils, indexable insert holders, and key cutters. Internal coolant through the tool is available with this system. The HT easy-quick tooling system is available now on KOMA Z+ angle heads and Koma live tools.

Koma Precision, Inc. is the exclusive North American importer of Tsudakoma rotary tables, Alberti angle heads and live tools, Jauch+Schmider EDM rotary tables, Koma Z+ angle heads and live tools, the HT easy-quick tooling system, and Romai specialty tooling.
