Within 170 x 170 mm footprint, MB500 provides internal power management capabilities, up to 1 GB DDR SDRAM support, and one or 2 Realtek 10/100 Ethernet controllers for LAN connectivity. It supports AMD Geode CS5536 companion device, which is optimized to work with 433 or 500 MHz AMD Geode LX processors, and includes VGA controller that supports graphics interfaces for CRT, TFT, and LVDS LCDs. Connectivity is provided via USB 2.0, COM, PCI, Mini PCI, and CompactFlash interfaces.

IBASE Releases the MB500 AMD Geode(TM) LX Mini-ITX Motherboard
TAIPEI, TAIWAN, September 11, 2006 - IBASE Technology, a leading manufacturer of RoHS-compliant Mini-ITX motherboards, releases a new AMD Geode LX Mini-ITX platform that delivers the highest power/performance ratio available in the industry today, offering designers a complete solution for developing a variety of end-user devices that require high-performance x86-based processing and low power usage. The cost effective MB500 supports the AMD Geode CS5536 companion device, optimized to work with the AMD Geode LX 800@0.9W processor.
With highly versatile internal power management, the MB500 Mini-ITX motherboard comes with the needed features to meet a wide range of applications. With up to 1GB of DDR SDRAM support, it comes with one or two Realtek 10/100 Ethernet controllers for LAN connectivity. The integrated VGA controller supports graphics interfaces for CRT, TFT and LVDS LCD displays.
