Mantis Elite®, a New Generation of Microscope, Now Available with a 20x Objective Lens

Following the success of the original Mantis, Vision Engineering has launched the new generation of Mantis to bring advanced benefits to the user. Benefits include greater comfort to the user, with the 'eyepieceless' technology, providing freedom of head movement and the ability to wear glasses or contact lenses. Optimal color rendition and a greater working distance for deburring and micro welding is also a prominent feature of the new Mantis range. The Mantis Elite, inspection for defects, including hairline cracks becomes effortless. Ultimately the new modern design allows for a more powerful range of optics, up to X20 with the Mantis Elite.

Rick Coyle, Vision Engineering's General Manager explains how he thinks the new generation of Mantis will bring about even greater expectations from their customers. "We have been listening to our customers and have developed the existing model to meet with their requirements. The new model incorporates improvements in design and technology. Best off all the new Mantis is less expensive. We believe that we are raising the stakes and our customers will continue to expect quality and value from us."
