It can grind from Mod 0.5 to 8 from 25-250 mm pitch diameter to AGMA 12 specification. Machine includes CNC contour diamond roll dressing, constant surface speed as wheel wears, infinitely variable wheel and work speeds selectable for roughing and finishing, and CNC controlled helix and work rotation.

WARREN, OHIO-Drake Manufacturing's new GS:G² 5-axis CNC gear grinder allows rough and finish grinding of hardened precut gears in one operation-with 15-minute setups. With two wheels available, there's no time lost between rough and finish grinding operations.
The GS:G² is equipped with an easy menu-driven control with Drake's Gear Smart(TM) programming, allowing part changeovers in 15 minutes or less. Additional menu entries are available for specific customer applications.
Other key features include CNC contour diamond roll dressing, constant surface speed as the wheel wears, infinitely variable wheel and work speeds selectable for roughing and finishing, and CNC controlled helix and work rotation.
The GS:G² can grind from Mod 0.5 to 8 (50 to 3DP) from 25mm to 250mm (1.0" to 10") pitch diameter to AGMA 12 specification.
