Continuous-Flex Drive Cables target Allen Bradley systems.


September 1, 2006 - Developed for Allen Bradley MP Series industrial automation systems, Chainflex® Continuous-Flex Interconnect Cables have military style circular connectors with TPE-molded back shell for IP67 rating. They use flame, oil, and chemical resistant jacket materials that are UL and CSA recognized. Available for motor, encoder, and brake functions, cables are offered in various configurations, including flying leads and extension cables with bulkhead-style flange connectors.

New Chainflex Continuous-Flex Cables Designed for Allen Bradley Systems


EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - August 15, 2006 - Igus® Inc., the leading developer of Energy Chain® cable carriers, Chainflex® continuous-flex cables and iglide® plastic bearings, has developed a line of continuous-flex, drive, interconnect cables especially for Allen Bradley "MP series" industrial automation systems. These new Chainflex drive cables have industry-standard military style circular connectors with TPE-molded back shell for IP 67 rating.

As with all Chainflex cables, these interconnects are ideal for continuous-flexing applications in an Energy Chain cable carrier. Chainflex cables use flame, oil and chemical resistant jacket materials that are also UL and CSA recognized. These are the first Chainflex continuous-flex cables made specifically for Allen Bradley systems.
The Chainflex Allen Bradley drive cables are compatible with MP series motors and standard Allen Bradley interconnects. These drive cables are available for motor, encoder and brake functions and are available in different configurations, including flying leads and extension cables with bulkhead-style flange connectors.

Chainflex drive cables also are available for other Allen Bradley motor series as well as for other motor manufacturers. Igus also offers complete harnessing services. Please call for additional information on other configurations.
