August 9, 2006 - Delivering air balancing accuracy to ±5%, Iris Damper permits airflow to be adjusted and measured at one location. It uses interlocking steel plates and calibrated control lever to form adjustable aperture. By measuring differential pressure across pressure ports and referring to matching performance curve, product enables airflow to be precisely determined. Ten sizes are available, from 4-32 in. dia, with capacities from 15-20,000 cfm.

Iris Dampers


Now, for the first time, a single device permits airflow to be adjusted and measured at one location, resulting in reduced field time and improved accuracy in air balancing.

The new Iris Damper uses interlocking steel plates and a calibrated control lever to form an adjustable aperture. By measuring differential pressure across the pressure ports, and referring to the matching performance curve, airflow can be precisely determined.

Ten sizes are available, from 4" to 32", with capacities to 20,000 CFM. The Iris Damper is manufactured of galvanized steel, and fitted with a neoprene gasket for airtight mounting. Stainless steel, motorized and positive seal versions are available.

Rugged, compact and precise, this remarkable new product will revolutionize the industry.
