Energy Sub-Meter suits cost allocation applications.

August 22, 2006 - From allocating individual apartment unit energy costs to tracking in-plant departmental energy expenditures, Shark100-S provides solution for residential, commercial, and industrial sub-metering needs. Unit offers standard interfaces using Modbus, RJ45 Ethernet Modbus TCP, or 802.11 Wireless Ethernet Modbus TCP. With standard Modbus, meter can be interfaced to most energy management and SCADA systems, eliminating need for software and communication channels.

Electro Industries Introduces Wireless 802.11 Ethernet Energy Sub-Meters

Westbury, New York (July 17, 2006) - Electro Industries/GaugeTech, the Leader in Web Accessed Power Monitoring, announces the Shark100-S energy Sub-Meters for demanding sub-metering and cost allocation applications.

From allocating individual apartment unit energy costs to tracking in-plant departmental energy expenditures, the Shark100-S provides ideal, economical solutions for all residential, commercial and industrial sub-metering needs.

The unit provides standard interfaces using Modbus serial (RS485), RJ45 Ethernet Modbus TCP or 802.11 Wireless Ethernet Modbus TCP. KYZ energy pulses are also available. This technology was developed to harness today's most demanding applications for energy metering. Using the standard Modbus interface, allows the unit to be interfaced to almost all energy management and SCADA systems eliminating the need for proprietary software and communication channels.
