TEGOŽ Polish Additiv WE 50 is non-ionic, oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion system that combines concentrated, organo-modified, silicone-based emulsifier with natural avocado oil. It promotes gloss and color enhancement, water repellency, and long-term care for leather, wood, and plastic surfaces. In combination with thickening agents, product can also be used in polish creams for plastic surfaces. Highly concentrated O/W emulsion (50%) can be diluted with water.

Degussa's TEGOŽ Polish Additiv WE 50 Puts 'Natural' Gloss on Many Surfaces
Avocado-Oil-Based Emulsion Concentrate Also Enhances Color; Provides Long-term Care
HOPEWELL, Va. (June 12, 2006) - Responding to growing consumer preferences for home care products made from natural ingredients, the Home Care product line of Degussa´s subsidiary Goldschmidt Chemical Corporation has introduced TEGO Polish Additiv WE 50. This non-ionic, oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion system combines a highly concentrated, organomodified silicone-based emulsifier with natural avocado oil to provide excellent gloss and color enhancement, water repellency, long-term care and other benefits to a wide variety of leather, wood and plastic surfaces.
TEGO Polish Additiv WE 50 is suitable for use on leather shoes, clothes and furniture, varnished and veneered wood, plastic surfaces such as automobile dashboards, and more. Because it is a highly concentrated O/W emulsion (50%), it can be easily diluted with water. It can be applied effectively from a wet wipe, from a soft cloth (as a liquid), or from a pump spray.
"The avocado oil provides a pleasant surface feel during and after application," observed Dr. Andras Nagy, Group Leader, Applied Home Care Research, in North America, Degussa's Goldschmidt Chemical Corporation. "It also prevents wax build-up, which helps ensure longer-lasting gloss, color refreshment and care."
TEGO Polish Additiv WE 50 can also be used in polish creams for plastic surfaces, in combination with thickening agents. "In addition, because it is non-ionic, it can be blended easily with other surfactant systems," noted Janet Kosiek, Marketing Manager, Home Care Products.
