Internal ribbing provides structural support, while shaft lock design facilitates bit changes. In addition to cord guard and dust-sealed switch, saw features 5/32 in. collet system for compatibility with RotoZip XBITS® accessories. Adjustable foot enables cutting of material up to 1 in. thick.

Mt. Prospect, Ill. July 14, 2006 - The new RotoZip® RZ02 Spiral Saw® incorporates enhancements to deliver better professional performance and durability in more applications. As the industry's premier Spiral Saw for cutting drywall, wood, countertops, wall tile, metal, plastics and more, the new RZ02 replaces the previous generation RZ01 with full compatibility with the RotoZip system of attachments and accessories.
The RZ02 is built around a 5.0 AMP 120V motor and powers 30,000 RPM to accomplish a broad range of cutting applications for drywallers, framers, remodelers, installers and electricians. A specially designed cord guard reduces downtime and enhances durability. Extra internal ribbing provides structural support to survive the toughest jobsite abuse. And an improved shaft lock design makes bit changes faster and easier.
Additional notable features include a dust sealed switch, adjustable foot for cutting material up to one-inch thick and a 5/32-inch collet system for compatibility with the new extensive line of RotoZip XBITS® accessories. A removable hard handle with bit and wrench storage will come as an option for some kits.
