Blue Coat Professional Services Group Collaborates with Global Systems Integrators for WAN Optimization Deployments

Blue Coat Provides Expanded Training and Expertise to Global Systems Integrators for Large-Scale Deployments of Application Acceleration

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 13 / - Blue Coat® Systems (NASDAQ:BCSI), the leader in secure content and application delivery, today announced that its professional services group is now offering expanded services to global systems integrators to assist them in providing complete deployment services for WAN optimization solutions. Blue Coat offers a comprehensive WAN optimization solution with its Blue Coat SG appliances, integrating content and application acceleration with Web security and control for the complete range of business applications.

The Blue Coat Professional Services Group offers global systems integrators a services framework for specifying and arranging phases of WAN optimization deployments, including each step of its five phase approach to customer deployments:

o Assessment
o Planning
o Design
o Implementation
o Optimization

The Blue Coat Professional Services team will then work with global systems integrators to provide assistance at each phase of the process. The team also offers global systems integrators an on-site intensive training around best practice implementations. Complete training on all of its solutions is also available from Blue Coat.
