Promethean Introduces 95' Activboard, the Industry's Largest and Most Durable Interactive Whiteboard
ATLANTA, July 7 -- Promethean, a global leader in interactive learning technology, continues to the lead the industry in product development with the introduction of the world's largest and most durable interactive whiteboard.
The new 95-inch diagonal Activboard interactive whiteboard is ideal for larger classrooms and halls. The new 95-inch Activboard will be available in the Fall 2006 although Promethean will continue to offer its most popular size, the 78-inch model.
Promethean's Activboard is designed specifically to withstand the rigors of classroom use and humid environments. The whiteboard's anti-glare, electromagnetic surface is extremely precise and durable. Teachers and students interact with lessons on the Activboard using Promethean's battery- free Activpen.

The Activboard can also be used with Promethean's new 21-inch Activwand, which permits early learners and special needs students to more easily select and interact with objects on the board that may have been out of reach before.
The Activboard comes with Promethean's award-winning lesson development software, Activstudio, which includes exclusive tools and a searchable library of resources. Promethean users also have access to thousands of ready-made flipchart lessons aligned to state education standards in a searchable database that can be queried by state, subject area, grade level and keyword.
Using Promethean's Activote handheld formative assessment devices, teachers can quickly and easily gauge student understanding. Having access to immediate feedback allows teachers to adjust the learning pace and lesson direction to student needs.
