Electric Injection Molding Machine suits high-cycle molding.
June 28, 2006 -
Designed with ultra-rigid frame that suppresses vibration, MEtII Series includes rigid clamping mechanism and double-roller supported movable die plates. To prevent tie-bar load imbalance during mold opening and closing, 2 nozzle-touch ball screws connect injection and clamping units. Super Resin Control-II works with other functions to ensure constant metering, while MAC-VIII-t control panel uses LAN for communication between controller and each servo motor amplifier.

Mitsubishi Introduces The New MEtII Series All-Electric Injection Molding Machine
BENSENVILLE, IL - (June 13, 2006) Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 's newest MEtII Series all-electric injection molding machine further responds to demands for high precision, high cycle molding.
As in its predecessor, the MEt, a variety of durable construction features enhance the precision of the MEtII Series. The MEtII's ultra-rigid frame suppresses vibration and holds accuracy to micron levels, while a highly rigid clamping mechanism and double-roller supported movable die plates further promote accuracy. To prevent tie-bar load imbalance during mold opening/closing operation, two nozzle-touch ball screws connect the MEtII's injection and clamping units.
The incorporation of a Super Resin Control-II (SRC-II) works with other functions to ensure constant metering. Using the SRC-II system, the screw applies pressure to the melt after metering. This process results in high repeatability of melt density and product weight with every mold cycle. MHI offers an optional SRC-III system with shut ring control for even more exact metering.
For ease of operation, the MEtII Series features a totally integrated MAC-VIII-t control panel. All settings and operations can be performed from this panel. The MAC-VIII-t uses a Local Area Network to ensure accurate communication between the controller and each servo motor amplifier. The MEtII's servo system is one of many efficiency-driven features. The MEtII operates with less energy consumption than competitor models and produces minimal noise. The MEtII is available in a range of configurations from 35 to 300 US tons.
