Part Rotators enable marking of round part ODs.

Equipped with 80-150 mm chuck driven by industrial stepper motor, part rotators allow peen, scribe, and laser marking on OD of round parts. Products mount directly to T-slots of EasyMarker(TM), PM Micro(TM), Handy Andy(TM), as well as DPS dot peen and scribe marking machines and systems. Available with high-speed DPS machines, optional servo drive delivers speeds up to 10 characters/sec. For high-production systems, rotators are fitted with automatic workholding devices.

New Line of Rotators Permits Marking Machines to Mark the OD of Round Parts
Unit can be quickly mounted directly to T-slot of the EasyMarker(TM), Handy Andy(TM) and DPS marking machine tables.
Columbia Marking Tools and partner, J.R. Richter of Germany, have introduced a new line of compact, cost effective part rotators that allow peen, scribe and laser marking the OD of round parts. The units are designed to be used in conjunction with the Columbia EasyMarker(TM) Models 100, 200, 300, 400, 500; the PM Micro(TM), the Handy Andy(TM) and all DPS dot peen and scribe marking machines and systems.
The ability to mark the periphery of round parts is provided by a rotator unit that is mounted directly to the T-slots of the marking machine table, Fig. 1. The rotator is equipped with an 80 mm (up to 150mm) chuck that is driven by an industrial stepper motor. Also available with the high-speed DPS machines is an optional Servo drive for unmatched performance & speed (up to 10 characters per second). For high-production systems, the rotators are fitted with automatic workholding devices. The integration of the rotator axis is controlled through the Columbia marking machine PC software. The standard rotator units are available from stock..Columbia Marking Tools provides a 2-year warranty with each standard unit package.
