Brushes feature high filament density.
November 30, 2001 - Bradex® Composite hub fiber abrasive radial wheel brushes have embedded fibers across entire surface of their indestructable cores. This reduces filament breakage and allows filaments to perform consistently throughout wear process. Wheels are well balanced to aid in reducing machine fatigue.
Abtex Corporation has introduced a new line of composite hub fiber abrasive radial wheel brushes for applications requiring high filament density. Higher filament density increases the brush's aggression, reduces part cycling time and extends brush life.
Abrasive fibers are embedded across the entire surface of the
indestructible core. This design reduces filament breakage and allows the filaments to perform consistently throughout the wear process.
The Abtex construction method eliminates the pre-stressing of
filaments that occurs when traditional metal hubs grasp and squeeze the filaments. Bradex composite hub radial wheels are also exceptionally well balanced, which reduces machine fatigue. The result is higher production rates, longer brush life and less downtime for wheel changes.
