Liberty Industries Introduces The Bulldog ŪShoe Cleaning System

East Berlin, CT/May 2006 - Liberty Industries Inc a leader in cleanroom technologies, has recently introduced the BulldogŪ shoe cleaning system. The Bulldog Ū 351 is designed to clean large boots and shoes at entrances to offices, warehouses, cleanrooms, laboratories etc. as employees and visitors enter form the outside or from a dirty work area. The system combines the company's bulldog shoe brush machine and its' Tacky MatŪ, each sheet of which has a strong adhesive coating that removes dirt on contact.

The BulldogŪ features push button operation with a 1/6 horsepower, 115V/60HZ single phase motor. To collect dirt from the unit, the system requires a specially selected wet/dry vacuum (that can be purchased from the company) or central vacuum system. The unit is commonly offered with the Tiger-VacŪ, Hepa-filtered vacuum manufactured by Tiger-Vac International Inc. Protected by a 15 amp breaker, the Bulldog'sŪ total power requirements is 12.4 amps, including the vacuum attachment.

The shaft of the BulldogŪ is constructed of carbon steel electroless nickel-plated design to reduce corrosion. Though it can be used for wet/dry applications, the stainless steel unit is for indoor use only. Rotating heavy-duty, non-abrasive brushes handle all types of dirt including mud, leaves, grass clippings, slush or sand. This make the BulldogŪ ideal for construction sites, building lobbies, gowning rooms, anterooms, production areas and pre-entry to cleanrooms. When used properly, the BulldogŪ can help reduce annual maintenance costs for facilities with high traffic areas where dirt is a concern, enabling users to protect expensive floors and carpets from damage.

The company is making its Tacky MatŪ available as an add on feature to accompany the BulldogŪ unit. Each Tacky MatŪ consists of 30 disposable sheets, with different grades of tack available. The polyethylene sheets are non-allergenic, non-odorous and no-drying.

Founded in 1953, Liberty Industries, is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of cleanrooms, laminar flow devices, cleanroom accessories and other cleaning supplies. Liberty's original product - The shoe brush machine and tacky mats - remains a mainstay in the cleanroom industry, and the company continues to maintain a leadership position in the development of new products that promote total cleaning solutions.
