Kingston Announces NVIDIA SLI(TM)-Ready HyperX DDR2 Low-Latency 800 MHz Modules

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., June 5 -- Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced the release of the NVIDIA SLI-Ready 800 MHz low-latency HyperX(R) modules. The NVIDIA SLI-Ready 800-MHz low-latency HyperX modules increase overall system performance when paired with select NVIDIA nForce(R) 500 series-based motherboards with easy, one-step set up. Kingston's NVIDIA SLI-Ready modules, designated with an "N" in the part number, are available in 1- and 2-GB kits.

Kingston(R) and NVIDIA engineered these specially designed HyperX modules to allow users the ability to boost system performance by simply installing NVIDIA SLI-ready components. Without needing to tune the BIOS, users simply select their performance options during their system configuration to experience enhanced performance.

"Kingston is proud to bring a series of modules with cutting-edge memory technology to the enthusiast market," said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager, Kingston. "This new array of HyperX product is ideal for gamers and enthusiasts who want increased performance without manipulating the BIOS settings," continued Tekunoff.

NVIDIA SLI technology is a revolutionary platform innovation that allows users to intelligently scale performance by combining multiple NVIDIA graphics solutions in a single system with an NVIDIA nForce SLI media and communications processor (MCP). Using proprietary software algorithms and dedicated scalability logic in each NVIDIA graphics processing unit (GPU) and MCP, NVIDIA SLI technology delivers the highest performance computing solution.

"Kingston and NVIDIA are dedicated to engineering the latest in cutting-edge technology, and we are pleased to give certification to Kingston's NVIDIA SLI-Ready PC2-6400 low latency 800 MHz DDR2 modules," said Drew Henry, general manager of MCP products at NVIDIA.
