Information from multiple sources can be gathered simultaneously.

Cimetrix Announces CIMPortal(TM) Version 1.0 Software for Interface A
Production Usage of CIMPortal at Three Major Fabs Marks Highly Successful Conclusion of Worldwide Beta Program
SALT LAKE CITY, June 7 / -- Cimetrix, Inc. , a leading provider of factory automation software and solutions for the global semiconductor and electronics industries, has announced that the Cimetrix CIMPortal(TM) software product for the new Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI) Interface A standards, is formally released as a member of the Cimetrix family of award-winning connectivity software products, marking the end of a comprehensive, worldwide two-year Beta Program.
Cimetrix worked closely with industry leaders and experts, including Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs) and equipment suppliers during CIMPortal's Beta Program to answer the need for high speed, quality data from manufacturing equipment. During the Beta Program, Cimetrix developed a family of software products which conforms to the new Interface A standards, as well as to the new Japanese Tool Data Interface (TDI) functional specification.

Cimetrix's CIMPortal product family includes a flexible architecture for equipment suppliers to collect, manage and export data in multiple formats. In addition, the CIMPortal product family includes the underlying technology for the ISMI Equipment Client Connection Emulator (ECCE), a design reference artifact. Features highlighted in the CIMPortal version 1.0 release include:
o Generation of high quality data for both Interface A on-demand data
collection and TDI historical data collection
o Creation of equipment models using API functions or the Equipment Model Developer GUI
o Equipment model templates and tools to facilitate reusing sections of equipment models
o Flexible high speed Data Collection Interface Module (DCIM) architecture for gathering data from multiple sources simultaneously
o Application DCIM to establish an efficient, easy-to-use bridge between equipment software applications and CIMPortal.
o GEM DCIM for IDMs to retrofit Interface A using a SECS/GEM connection
