New Interlock Switch Can Provide Two Million Actuations in Most Applications

Features Eight Actuator Entry Points for Versatile Installation

FREMONT, CA - Scientific Technologies, Inc. introduces the T4012 Series universal tongue-operated safety interlock switch. The T4012 features a compact, glass-filled NEMA 6 thermoplastic housing making it suitable for use in most applications, including water washdown environments. When used with the optional stainless steel actuator, these switches are designed to provide a minimum of two million actuations in demanding application environments.

Two or four contact pole versions are available, with the four contact pole version providing two poles for dual channel safety monitoring and two poles for status monitoring. A rotatable head offers eight possible actuator entry points for versatile setup. The T4012 carries the CE mark, conforming to EN 1088, EN 292, EN 60947-5-1, EN 60204-1, is UL and C-UL listed, and BG approved.

Optional slide bolts facilitate easy installation and are robust enough for use with heavy doors. A slotted hole in the bolt permits attaching multiple padlocks for an additional level of safety.
