July 10, 2006 - Designed to accommodate all standard 19 in. rackmount equipment, SmartRack Enclosure cabinets feature quick-release door and side panels, split rear doors, and reversible front doors to facilitate access and reduce clearance requirements. Continuously variable mounting depths within overall 42 in. depth enables optimal server placement as well as power distribution and cable management. Doors and side panels are lockable, and baying kits are available for expansion.

Tripp Lite Introduces New SmartRack(TM) Enclosures

Chicago, IL (June 5, 2006)--Tripp Lite, a world-leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, has introduced a variety of new SmartRack Enclosures and Open Frame Rack Systems in heights from 25U to 47U. Designed to accommodate all standard 19-inch rackmount equipment in an adaptable, heavy-duty cabinet, SmartRack Enclosures are available from stock with or without side panels.

The SmartRack Enclosure line includes standard-width models in 25U, 42U and 47U heights. SmartRack Enclosures ship fully assembled for quick and easy deployment. They can be configured to order, complete with power, cooling, cable management and KVM options, while standard pre-configured solutions are available for ordering as a single SKU. The cabinets feature quick-release door and side panels for convenient maintenance and split rear doors for improved access and reduced clearance requirements. Front access doors are reversible for installation flexibility, and the enclosures offer ample access in the roof and base for power and data cabling.

SmartRack Enclosures offer continuously variable mounting depths within their overall 42-inch depth, which is optimal for server accommodation as well as related power distribution and cable management. Standard ventilation exceeds OEM requirements and enhanced air management options are available for especially demanding applications. Multi-enclosure baying applications are made easy with available baying kits, which may be ordered at any time for cost-effective, orderly and efficient expansion. Front and rear doors and side panels are lockable for equipment and data security, and enclosure access can be monitored remotely via Tripp Lite's optional ENVIROSENSE accessory.

Tripp Lite also offers 2-post and 4-post 45U SmartRack Open Frame Rack Systems and a full line of rack accessories, including mounting hardware, panel kits, shelves, rails, stabilization kits, airflow and cable management options, patch panels and KVM consoles. SmartRack Enclosures and Open Frame Racks and accessories are currently available and shipping.
